Cuisenaire Rods – Maths Learning Set

This set contains 126 Cuisenaire rods in a bag, made from recycled wood. This tool provides an interactive, hands-on way for children to explore mathematics and learn mathematical concepts. For example, the four basic arithmetical operations, working with fractions and finding divisors.

As the set is versatile, it can be used for the early introduction of mathematics and later on for more complex concepts such as symmetry. This tool is an excellent learning aid because of its many uses but also because it can be combined with many different learning activities. The most popular use of the rods is with the Montessori Bead Houses.
